Through 4 lessons of 2 hours each plus a 4-hour outdoor practical session, you will discover the essential principles of photography and learn how to create more intentional and compelling images.
Step by step, we will guide you through the fundamentals of photography: from understanding light and exposure to mastering composition and developing your own photographic vision.
You won't just learn which settings to use you will understand why and when to use them, allowing you to make better decisions and take photographs with a clear purpose.
During the course you will learn how to:

Frequently asked questions
How are the session dates agreed?
After payment I write to you within 24 hours and we set the calendar together, session by session. There is no fixed slot: we work around your availability, evenings and weekends included.
What equipment do I need?
Your own camera, whatever it is: DSLR, mirrorless or a compact with manual controls. You don't need to buy anything to start, and if you are considering a purchase we talk it through before you spend.
Is the course suitable for complete beginners?
Yes, and that's the most common case. The programme starts from where you are: if you already have the basics we skip the opening technical part and spend the time on composition, light and developing.
What if I need to move a session?
We move it, at no cost, as long as you tell me a day in advance. The lessons have no rigid expiry date: we spread them over whatever period suits you.
Are the online lessons recorded?
Yes. I record every online lesson and send you the video, so you can go back over each step on your own catalogue instead of taking notes while we work.
Can I pay in instalments?
Online payment is a single transaction. If you'd rather split it, write to me from the contact page and we'll sort something out before we start.
