Frequently asked questions
How much does an event photographer in Rome cost?
The two packages are above with their full price: half a day for parties and christenings, a full day for ceremonies. Nothing is added afterwards: culling, editing, the private gallery and delivery are already included. If your event fits neither format, write to me and I'll send a written quote.
How far in advance should I book?
Three to six weeks in the busy months, meaning May, June, September and October. Off season a few days is often enough. The date is locked with the 30% deposit payable online: from that moment it is yours and I offer it to nobody else.
When do I get the photos?
Within seven days of the event, in a private gallery you can share with your guests: they download by themselves, without asking you for anything. If you need a few frames immediately, the next day I send a selection of ten already-developed photos.
How do you work during the event?
As reportage: I stay among the guests and photograph what happens, without stopping the party to build scenes. Group and family portraits are done at an agreed moment, usually twenty minutes, so you have those too without the whole evening becoming a posing session.
Do you cover events outside Rome?
Yes, across Lazio and beyond. Outside the ring road I add a travel cost, which I state in the quote before anything is confirmed: no surprises on the invoice.
What if it rains?
We work anyway: whatever can move indoors moves indoors and we use what is there. Rain has never been a reason to cancel, and it usually returns less predictable photographs than a sunny day.
